Diabetes affects your emotions and your emotions affect your diabetes
If you or a loved one have been recently diagnosed
with diabetes you must be experiencing different feelings such as denial, overwhelming, sadness, fear or depression.
Those feelings are perfectly normal and we hope that with education and support you will be feeling better each day.
Please try to take
it easy. Live one day at a time and try to focus on the things that bring you joy. Little by little you will learn how to
cope with diabetes and you will feel stronger and more in control. You are not alone and we are here to help you.
In these pages you will find information about the way emotions affect diabetes, but
also try to share your concerns and experiences with the members of our Diabetes Forum.
